米国的クラシックなラスト（木型）を独自の解釈により製作し、セットバックしたブーツパターンカッティングを組み合わせたドレッシーなデザインに、カジュアル感あるVIBRAM社のEVAライトソール、そしてGOODYEAR WELTED製法を採用したCHELSEA BOOTは、英国のミュージシャンからインスピレーションを受けたプロダクトである。
シンプルなカッティングに対してマット感ある無機質なスペイン製オイルドレザーを使用することにより、TOANDCO.が好む音楽の世界観と共通する、過去をリスペクトしながらも、独自の解釈により発展する新しいデザインを提案している。
TO & CO.’ s traditional stand-by lace-up shoes are inspired by Jazz musicians in Paris. These shoes are manufactured by a dance-shoe specialist in Italy, realising not only the design, pattern and form of the shoe, but also its structure. The upper material is Nappa goat skin which is known to be extremely soft. To achieve delicacy and softness, toe-puff and heel-counter, commonly used in shoe-making, are eliminated from the product.
パリで見たJAZZ MISICIAN からインスパイアーされたTO&CO. 定番のレースアップシューズ。このシューズは、ダンスシューズのデザインやパターン、そしてフォルムだけではなく、構造まで表現したいという理由から実際にダンスシューズを製作するイタリアのファクトリーでつくられている。
アッパーレザーには肌触りの良いNAPPA GOAT SKIN を採用し、通常の靴作りでは必要とされているトゥパフやバックカウンターを取り除くことにより、華奢で柔らかいシューズを表現している。
TO & CO.’ s original BELGIAN LOAFERS are produced in collaboration with an Italian dance shoe-maker. The key characteristic of a traditional dance shoe is a flexible sole. However, our BELGIAN LOAFERS use Fodera Sacchetto (bag lining) and the Blake method, to make them easier to walk in. The upper material is goat suede which has a pleasant feel. To achieve delicacy and softness, toe-puff and heel-counter, commonly used in shoe-making, are eliminated from the product.
イタリアのダンスシューズメーカーとの協業により製作された、TO&CO. オリジナルのBelgian Loafers。通常のダンスシューズの特徴でもある返りの良いアウトソールに対し、ライニングを袋状にした＝Fodera sacchetto＋Blake 製法を用いることにより歩行しやすい構造のプロダクトになっている。肌触りの良いゴートスエードをアッパー素材に使用し、一般的な靴作りでは必要とされているトゥパフやバックカウンターを取り除くことにより、華奢で柔らかいシューズを表現している。
